"It's kind of supernatural. How
can these veterans of rock'n'roll produce
something so up-to-date, without losing their 70's
characteristics ? EvenPhil Lanzon seems to reedit
those psychedelic trips of the old Hammonds.
Mick Box is the same guitar master as always, besides
being a great
songwriter. Bernie Shaw shows his voice more tuned
and strong as ever
before. How he sings !!! The rhythm section
of ol' Lee Kerslake (drums)
and Trevor Bolder (bass) remains precise and
impeccable. Although, "Sonic
Origami" exaggerates a little with ballads and
progressive parts, running
away from their traditions. The most interesting
point is that they keep
providing talent and very good taste." (FSF)
