Sonic Origimi opens with a very Uriah Heep sounding organ followed by
guitar and the rest of the band kicking in. It's a good start to a solid
album that is probably too long, too much for listening to in one go.
Everything is you would expect from the band - organs, superb guitar,
wonderful harmonies and excellent tunes. It's the most "Uriah Heep"
sounding album for years, with great interplay between guitar &
keyboards. The song's twist and turn in true "progressive" manner
through fast bits, slow bits, sudden vocal cresendoes and orchestral
sounding back drops.
But again, 70 minutes is too long and some of the songs on this album
are forgettable, especially after the opening five songs.
