Hi all,

After listening all day I'm getting more and more EXCITED ABOUT SONIC ORIGAMI.
My top 4 up till now=

1. Between two worlds.

Its a classic Heeprocker with all elements we know from Heep. It's Drama at it's best. Bernie goes to his top and the content of the song: about Dave byron and Gary Thain, so says Mick in the booklet gives the song a different feel. Right now I hear Mick outstanding solo at the end....whaaaaaghhh!!
2, Question

A acoustic song with a great feel, beautifull harmonies. It really gets you. This phrase is sung as a chorus and I like to hear it time and time again:

'Can I ask the question to you
do you know who you are
do you know what we're doing here
Try to see the way from within
cause it isn't outside

3.Shelter from the rain.

Made me think a bit of 'Weep in silence', and a sort of Whitesnake type of song. I could easily imagine David Coverdale start to sing. But then it's Bernie and he's doing very well. Slow and a lot of emotion. Also a quiet song with Mick's great guitarwork.

4. Feels like.

This song starts quietly and then kicks of in a Deep Purple kind a style the riff is imho similar to Sail away form Burn ) with Heepy elements. This must be the bluessong Mick told us about.

The production is OK,comparing to Sea of Light and Raging silence, the songs are streamlined . The compositions are more original, Bernie is getting better by the album and a great deal is done by Phil. Lot's of great melodies.
