It's 1974 and I am 15 years young and still trying to find out wich music I like best. I listened to Deep Purple and Status Quo but then I heard 'Sweet Freedom' and I was thrilled. I knew instantly that this was definiteley my favorit kind of music. I couldn't possibly imagine at that time that their music would still be part of my life after more then 25 years

This is 1978 and by that time I had almost every record that was released.

1980 It truly saddened me that Ken Hensley left the band that year because I admired his writing and playing so much ( no smile on my face! ) I never listened to any new Heep song eversince, just played the old ones over and over again.

January 2000. Due to the internet I discovered last year that Uriah Heep is still on the road, but more important: Ken Hensley just finished a new album after such a long time, yes! ( Smile back on my face ) and his lyrics and music are more beautiful then ever.
